Terms of Use

1. Parties and acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and TALAN SAS, a company incorporated under French law (SIREN 488 601 337, SIRET 488 601 337 00055, VAT FR83488601337), registered at 14-20 rue Pergolèse, 75116 Paris, France ("we", "us", "Trust").

By downloading, installing, or using the Trust software, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.

2. License grant

Subject to payment of the applicable subscription fee and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Trust software on the number of Windows computers permitted by your plan:

• Starter — 1 device
• Pro — up to 3 devices
• Business — up to 10 devices

The license is granted for personal use or internal business use only. Resale or redistribution is not permitted.

3. Subscription and billing

3.1 Billing cycle

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the option chosen at checkout. Annual subscriptions are charged in full at the start of each billing period.

3.2 Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email at least 7 days before renewal.

3.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via email to info@trust-node.tech. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except during the 7-day refund window.

3.4 Price changes

We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days in advance by email. Continued use after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance.

4. Refund policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all plans. To request a refund, send an email to info@trust-node.tech within 7 days of the purchase date. Refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. After 7 days, no refunds are issued except where required by applicable consumer law.

5. Permitted use

You agree to use Trust only for lawful purposes. In particular, you must not:

• Record content in violation of applicable laws or the rights of third parties (including without consent where required).
• Use the software to capture, store, or distribute content that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the software.
• Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your license key or access rights to any third party.
• Circumvent, disable, or tamper with license verification or any security feature of the software.

6. Intellectual property

The Trust software, including all code, interface elements, documentation, and branding, is the exclusive intellectual property of TALAN SAS and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. You acquire only the limited right of use described in Section 2.

7. Updates and support

Active subscribers receive software updates free of charge for the duration of their subscription. We provide email support at info@trust-node.tech with a target response time of 2 business days. Support is provided in English and French.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The software is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TALAN SAS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the software, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the software after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
